Sabah Chaudhry is a freelance project manager and creative director for multiple companies and works as one of the senior portfolio reviewers at the FORMAT international photography festival.
She gave us some really good information on how to prepare for a portfolio review in order to stand out from other people. she also gave us some opportunities to get our work reviewed
Very fortunate to have a talk from Stephanie Wynne, a photographer who has 23 years experience working freelance. It was interesting to find out how she got into the industry and how she gets contacts for multiple jobs through the work she has produced as well as on current jobs she is working on.
During my Portfolio review, Stephanie suggested to look more at making the objects which I find out on location look more exciting. By doing this it will allow my work to become more eye catching.

Solène Gün - Turunç
This project showcased the daily lives of men who have a Turkish Background living in the suburbs of Berlin and Paris. Gün photographs what connects them as a community: solidarity, fraternity and hope, despite the situations of boredom and violence which confront them on a daily basis. Her images are poetic and visually striking showing a group of men who are usually negatively stereotyped due to their backgrounds.
